The funeral

The funeral of my friend Arne today was a worthy nice ceremony. The church was filled up, and so was the parking lot. Must have been some hundreds. A "hundred" of us were invited to the memorial at the Holmenkollen restaurant above Oslo. Arne was a generous, humorous good friend, a lawyer of profession, and a mentor to us friends around him. He enjoyed the life, was both a good sportsman and cook. Never said no to a whisky, a beer or a red, in good parties. I honoured him with a drop of Bourbon tonight. Felt I needed one myself too.
