HMS Daring visiting Guernsey for 3 days under the command of Captain Guy Robinson.
The Type 45 Destroyer is visiting to take part in the Charybdis ceremony which commemorates the sinking of HMS Charybdis off Guernsey.
HMS Charybdis was a Dido-class cruiser. She served during the Second World War and was sunk with heavy loss of life by German torpedo boats in an action in the English Channel in October 1943.
