NE Alberta at NE 24th 

A haircut this morning - hooray. I called the salon as soon as I knew I was going to be up in Portland to see if they could squeeze me in, happily they found a spot for me. My last haircut in Redwood City was not good so I have not been getting my hair cut the usual 7-8 weeks, so as well as catching up on each other's news the stylist had my wild hair to deal with - feels and looks a lot better now.

Then it was here to Alberta Street for a bra fitting. Yet another specialist person I have yet to find a replacement for in the Bay Area.  

Oh well, I'm quite happy to take care of these self maintenance things in Portland.  

The air was a bit better and I even ventured to open a window this morning for a short while. Now at 3:30 p.m. there are the first signs of a real clearing of the air, some blue sky and some sun and a bit of a breeze. I think I'll really be able to have the windows open this evening!
