Monet's Garden, Giverny

To Giverny today which is about a 50 minute drive from where we are staying at Maisons Lafitte.  Not sure about the weather but think it might be the best day of the week.

We visited several years ago and it’s just as beautiful - though not so crowded nor hot as that was in June.



Simply amazing. And, well worth a visit.  We had a late lunch in the village and then returned to the garden at about 1600 when the crowds had disappeared and we had it virtually to ourselves.  Got caught in an amazing rain shower and had to shelter under the trees.  After it had finished the sun came out and lit everything up.
