Rainbow Through the Dark Skies

Those tough days befall us all. A phone malfunction resulted in a loss of 2,000-plus photos. Some of those included most of my time with my students back at Oakland High, Kirby's last days and last moments, the Oregon Country Fair, and all days in between and beyond. It ultimately came down to my bad doing, but, as the saying goes, it is what it is. 

I've been trying to be patient and somewhat philosophical about it,  to find a lesson or meaning in it all. And then this morning...a rainbow across a dark, rainy plain. Hard to complain about anything after this.
