Goodby Jose

We've been getting the very last of Hurricane Jose's fury the last couple of days and he is waning fast, marching ever so quickly into senescence.  Mild winds, higher than normal surf and lots of clouds.  We took a ride over to the coast late this afternoon, but it was low tide and there wasn't a lot of excitement but there were riptides and under toes and a moderate amount of surfers.  These colorful cottages in the extras were the only bit of color.  There was no waiting at the ice cream stand though.
