Ready for the future

I collected my bike from the shop today; it has been in the garage for several years without use and needed an MOT. I need to exercise, for my brain as much as my body, I am getting very stale

I asked if the engine would work better than before. The bike man thought about it, looked me up and down and came out with a very polite answer. I have got new break cables, new gear cables, new chain and new cassette (I did not even know I had a cassette, can't wait to listen to it)

My thoughts currently are that non working Friday could be a good day to try the bike out. But that is on Wednesday night; come Thursday night I might think Sunday would be better, come Sunday I might put the bike into the garage til next week etc etc
