Lacock Abbey sacristy

So were off to Dorset for a week and hoping for some reasonable weather.  These days we generally stop somewhere on the way to break up the journey. This time it's a Travelodge near Chippenham which allowed us to spend the afternoon at Lacock Abbey, once the home of William Fox Talbot  who pioneered the modern negative photographic process.

There is still quite a lot of the old abbey to see as well as the rest of the very grand house.
