Monkey thirst

Today we went to Monkey Island. Definition - An Island full of Monkeys.

This is a guided walk after a very short boat trip across the river. The monkeys took their sweet time to introduce themselves to the group however once there were machete chopped bananas laid out they flocked.

They were very entertaining and very fast. The Monkey pictured stole a bottle of water undid the lid and drank away... THIRSTY! However whilst being incredible clever and strong there is still an air of stupidity about them. As the monkey kept trying to drink from the water bottle that had been empty for a good minute now.

Very fun evening trip on my second day in the jungle, and as we were leaving the Island we were treated to a spectacular Amazon sunset.
