At home

Today I was supposed to go through to Edinburgh to meet my cousin Alison for lunch, but having felt the beginnings of a cold yesterday I had a bad night's sleep and woke up streaming. I was quite relieved when Alison said she didn't want to catch my germs, so I've had a very quiet day at home keeping myself dosed up with paracetamol.

I defrosted some home-made chicken soup for lunch and will probably have some more for tea. It seems to hit the right spot, especially on a dreich day like today.
