Ripley Castle

This morning we went for a stroll around the grounds of Ripley Castle.
It was rather quiet (better for photos) and the lake was calm. This shot is probably the best point from which to view the castle and the lake.
It is noticeable now that some of the trees are showing their autumn colours.

We would have had lunch in the tea room there, but it had attracted rather a large queue for tables. Obviously we didn't time that aspect of the trip very well at all!
