Deserted beach!

Well, I have stepped out of the box and here is a B&W image!
The colour version was really lovely with blue sky and sea, but I was brave!!
I don't have any special conversion programmes - used my Elements 10 and adjustment layers. I am open to any criticism....
It was a miserable windy day today and this beach which is usually well used by people out for a walk, often with their dogs, was deserted!
So much for our lovely spring weather - at least it's easier to pack for the colder climate in Europe when it's chilly here!
