Boots by the Door

This morning we had to have the apartment complex maintenance man in to look after a couple of niggling things. As is the tradition here in Finland, he removed his boots just inside the door. Everyone here removes footwear on entering a dwelling house or apartment.
I am posting this and several backblips from Hameenlinna Library. The internet is non existent in the apartment although we are paying for it in the rent. Something wrong somewhere. Technicians due to sort it out tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
