Haweswater

It was a toss-up between going to Ullswater or Haweswater. The customer is always right so we took her to Haweswater. She wanted to see the red deer, I laughed, but she was an expert having done a lot of study at Uni about deer in the UK.

Well we didn't see and red deer on the fells through the binoculars but, just as we were ready to head back to the studio, a roe crossed the road and jumped over the way. She was away with her camera! I felt sure it would be well away in the undergrowth. I was wrong! Back at the studio she downloaded some gorgeous shots of it.

I so wish I'd had her faith and gone to look for it!
