Bergamo

Morning in Bergamo, the weather seems to have remained a bit cloudy this morning after the rain last night. A nice breakfast in the hotel looking out over the city. After breakfast we went for  walk in the lower town. The large concrete blocks protecting the open air market have all been removed.

Much of the architecture of the lower town reminds me of the EUR area of Rome where I used to live. The picture shows the Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

In the afternoon we returned to Lenno and the sunshine. Not as many cyclists as yesterday, but the trucks are back on the road.
