Twickenham Station - No trains today

They take over the railway in the early hours of the morning, put tarps and polystyrene over the track, concrete blocks down the sides supporting wood over the top. Then they drive the diggers on and start demolishing things. The big crane out of shot costs £45k a day and has to be delivered by train to the site. Today it was only lifting small skips but the previous time it lifted the old station bridge.
By about 6pm on Sunday when this was shot they are clearing up removing the waste in order to give the railway back in the early hours of Monday morning
