Tractor Tuesday....

At long last - a dry day. Went next door and brought the combine over here to put the header on ready incase it dries up enough to get cutting .
After lunch , went down the road to feed cattle then went to check the straw in bandit country. The stuff that is in rows is still wet underneath and the stuff they are cutting is a bit raw but might do later on.
Back home and tested the barley. It was at 22% moisture- too wet for us to handle.
The oats were better at 18% so abandoned thoughts of baling straw and got the combine going. Managed to keep cutting till after 9pm until the dampness came down. At least it's a start !
