John

A convivial evening in the Waterman's Arms.
I've known John since I was eleven years old, which makes him my longest standing friend, I think. We don't see each other often these days but always pick up where we left off, so it was great to see him & his lovely wife, Connie, tonight.
The occasion was to mark 40 years of 'Jim Nights'. The eponymous Jim (see extra) & assorted cohorts have been meeting up weekly for beery evenings at sundry boozers across The Smoke for 4 decades. I've only managed about 2.5 decades, but they don't seem to mind too much.
