Hexham Abbey

Hoorah!  Today we had sunshine and some warmth.  Heaven!  I also had time to catch up with some chores and long overdue jobs, including making a start on an enormous pile of ironing.  We popped into Hexham in the hope of picking up some paint which we ordered and was due in last Thursday but has still not arrived which is a bit frustrating.  However, we enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the park beside the Abbey and enjoyed the warmth of the sun and some time together.
