And you try & tell the young people of today .....

With thanks to Monty Python

Progress has been steady today as I debated the best way of turning the hem, looking at various options and deciding when level is level enough. Until hey are actually on the pole I think this is as good as it gets. Just a bit of machining to get the gems ready and if they are correct I'll stitch them by hand to finish them. I rather like this composition because of the colours and shapes of the different objects and their role in making a pair of curtain by rotating an old pair, getting the width right and all other associated factors, not to mention a sewing machine where the tension doesn't work properly and the length of stitch is controlled by the speed at which I feed the fabric under the foot. Still that's make do and mend. You tell the young people of today and the won't believe you!
