milkweed seeds

The milkweeds are all seeding now and being blown around in the wind. Some are covered with milkweed bugs (see extra). These are true bugs (Hemiptera) and suck sap from all parts of the milkweed. They don't really damage it much but the juices they suck are toxic to some animals.
