Apples

There is a good harvest of apples this year. I collect the fallen ones and leave them on the bench until they have softened, when the chickens, ducks and geese can enjoy them .

Our feathered friends have a good diet this time of year. As well as the pellets and corn, they have a daily diet of dandelion leaves, elderberries, sloes, apples and a few tomatoes and raspberries.
