Last of the sun
We spent the morning indulging our OCD inclinations, by listing the different light fittings around the house, and then taking stock of our supply of light bulbs.
There would have been a time when pretty much all the bulbs in the house were large bayonet fittings - the only choice was the wattage. Now we have large bayonet (we have no small bayonet here), and small and large screw fittings, all of various wattages. We still have a number of the old style incandescent bulbs - I think we can use them up in our outside lights. And we have large numbers of the now rather outdated Energy Saver type bulbs - you know the ones - they take forever to get up to full strength. We have a few halogen bulbs. And we have a significant investment in LED bulbs, mainly spotlights for our many downlighters and other spotlights.
This was followed by a trip to the dentist. Afterwards, as I returned to the car, I was really tired, for no obvious reason. No photos at this point. So whilst W cooked our dinner, I wandered outside, and was lucky enough to catch the last of the sunshine on the trees at the bottom of the garden.
