Summer Returns!

It really did feel like summer!
We went over to RSPB Blacktoft Sands and were surprised how warm it was.
First time I haven't needed a cardigan or fleece for weeks.
Lots of waders to see, and even a kingfisher!
However it was the new wild flower meadow which caught my eye. The poppies really did look very Summery, and the blue sky and fluffy white clouds made the day.
On the way back we collected 3 bags of wood.
Stocking up for winter!
May be we will have an Indian Summer after all!
