Drizzle

Ma & I popped into Town for a delicious brunch today (Boston Tea Party's scrambled eggs are to die for) before she headed off to Zoe's to babysit and I trotted along to the Botanical Gardens. The Rotary Club were having a line dancing charity day and so I went to help man the BCHC Charity stall. Sadly, the weather was pretty grim all day with a steady cold drizzle happening, meaning that there weren't many visitors to the Gardens and the Rotary Club members didn't stray too far from their tents and brollies, so I had very little to actually do. I was a bit concerned that the wind and rain would mean packing up our gazebo would be a nightmare, but luckily one of the BCHC governors and his wife were kind enough to help out there. After a sneaky free Pimms bought over to warm me up, I headed into Birmingham to meet Rich & Kie for dinner, who were on their way back from a stag do in Chester. Seems like we both had very fun (if very different) weekends!
