Bomble's view after breakfast

I made my strong cup of coffee soon after Helena had left for work this morning. Bomble mentioned with a low voice that he'd like some more food, so I topped up his bowl which he quickly ate.

When I returned with my coffee he had taken up position on the table where he can view the garden, any rivals and soak up the sun which is actually his favourite thing. He goes to sleep normally after breakfast and given half a chance will lie prone with both his front legs stretched out in front of him in the sun.

It has been a beautiful day ever since I took this picture and the colours in the landscape are looking exquisite with the autumnal changes in the vegetation.
