Spotlight

I had a nightmare journey down to Hampshire today. After dropping off Finlay with our son-in-law I set off down the M1, which it turns out had been closed near to where I was expecting to turn off. A suspicious package had been found under one of the bridges between Milton Keynes and Northampton.

So I rerouted via the M69, A46, M40 and A34 - along with every man and his dog. Huge queues at every roundabout and junction and stop start traffic. Having set off just after 9 a.m. I got here around 4:30 p.m. Knackered now.

I did get Finlay out for a walk around 7 a.m. - and the sun was shining through the woods - this beam was running almost parallel to the ground creating shadows of the plants on the fallen tree trunk.
