Shifting dunes
UAE's Shanghai Expo pavilion designed by Foster + Partners has arrived at Saadiyat Island.
The UAE pavilion for Expo 2010 is supposed to resemble sweeping sand dunes. It is the first pavilion to be dismantled and rebuilt in another country since the tradition of international expos began with London's Great Exhibition of 1851.
Around 24,000 stainless steel pieces have made the 6,546-kilometre journey before being reassembled making this one of the world's biggest and most challenging jigsaw puzzles.
