Small Golden Black-Spotted Meadow Butterfly

Slowly recovering from the mass bee stings - the swelling is starting to subside but its still incredibly itchy.I managed to go out with the spaniel this morning and was rewarded with several sightings of small copper or, as it was known in the 17th century, the small golden black-spotted meadow butterfly (Pettiver).I do like some of the old butterfly names.
