Devil Mud Run

I had seen it advertised before, but I have never entered.

This was a gruelling 10K race with 31 obstacles.  These obstacles varied in difficulty from water slides (into mud of course) to steep embankments (of wet clay) to 12 foot walls (without ropes or hand holds).  The fact that it took me about 2.5 hours to complete, indicates how hard the course was.  It will take me a few days of regular showers to get rid of the smell of the mud.

But it was FUN.

After, I changed at the site and put all my clothes in a plastic bag and deposited them in my dustbin at home.  My shoes will be thoroughly washed and left outside in all weathers for a few days before I bring them indoors
