Pansies.

A quiet day round home gathering things ready for our boating trip starting on Friday.

The met office said the day was going to be dry so we had decided in the morning to take a mattress which was surplus to requirements to a charity which provides furniture.  Typically there was a  light drizzle but with the mattress well wrapped up we set off.  The first comment when we arrived was "you brought a mattress when its pouring down".  Apparently 6 miles away from our house it had been pouring down.  The mattress was nice and dry so acceptable.

On one of my trips down the garden between the dull periods and showers these Pansies stood out and caught my eye.  So that is today's blip.
