2017 Monday -- Selecting a Match

When our SoCal house sells, we'll be moving back into a house that we own and lived in for years, raised our kids in it, and have kept it as a rental for the 23+ years that we've lived in our big house.

Today we were at the store that sells carpet, tile, and counter-tops. We're trying to not spend anymore money than we have to, but also trying to select materials that are quality and will last.

Selecting colors was also part of today's task, so I brought a piece of the carpet and a piece of the tile from our coast house because we've been quite happy with the floors that we selected for the remodel there.
