No flocking geese

at Waddon Ponds today - so I blipped this lot racing to get to the clump of bread that a very sweet little boy was throwing.

He was calling out
"come on trumpet beaks, i've got some lovely bread for you"

There were a number of moorhens about and he is quite right, they do sound like they are blowing little high pitched trumpets.

The people who were supposed to meet me at the house opposite the ponds didn't show up... Most annoying!! I did eventually get hold of them and got a long winded lame excuse. Personally, I suspect they had been out on the Friday night razzle and were too hungover to bother coming out.... typical Saturday scenario.
Normally this would drive me up the wall, but seeing as I was there I decided to take full blipping advantage and nip across the park to the ponds.

I've messed about the hues again to cover up my bad photography make it look more interesting.

I am looking forward to this coming week, off work - hooray!
We are not going anywhere exotic just doing trips out for odd days and a brief two day jaunt to Bristol and Wales. Somewhere in amongst that we have some garden tidying up to take care of..... weather permitting.
