God's promise

This is the only photo I took today, and I'm sorry it didn't turn out better.
I met one of my reunion buddies for dinner at a Cajun restaurant in Littleton, then we drove to a hotel near the Denver airport to catch a predawn flight out to North Carolina tomorrow.
On the way out of the restaurant we noticed a scripture reference written in the cement at the entrance. It is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." What a great message with which to start our week away!
I was about to shoot just the cement, but my friend wanted to make it a selfie. But to get us in the photo was impossible, and even with squating ( that's me with my heels up) all I got was our feet and not all the scripture reference.
But hey, my girls get away has started very well!
