Canada Geese

Strange sight today on my walk round the lake - a flock of Canada Geese sitting around the perimeter of the water. The water level is quite low at the moment - so they could well be standing rather than afloat. It seemed quite eerie - like when the lake is frozen over in Winter and the birds are on top.
