Birthday Cake

Another slow morning.  No one was very keen to get up, however the boys did get up and went to church.  I decided to go for a walk in an effort to shake myself into life.  Later morning we all headed off to Newcastle to visit TT’s sister and family to celebrate his niece’s 18th birthday.  We had a lovely time catching up with family and friends we haven’t seen for a  long time.  It’s just a pity we were shattered and a bit partied out!  Uncle J had been cooking for two days, so there was lots of delicious food, and more prosecco was drunk by me, while TT drunk tea all afternoon.  BB was delighted to see his big cousins again, especially P.  Cousin H was holding court!

We didn’t stay too late as we all needed early nights after our weekend of parties.
