Lighthouse at the edge .....
....of the world. This is the Stevenson Lighthouse on the most southern point in Scotland - the Mull of Galloway. It is still a functioning lighthouse although now fully automated and last time Nigel and I were there the mist was so thick we couldn't see it till we reached the wall and walked into it! Today it was beautiful weather and there were House Martins flying all round it. The place was alive with Red Admiral butterflies as well :) We've had a lovely weekend with Mum and plan to go back there. It was like being on an island.
The extra is the lighthouse in the distance.
