Grrrrrrrr

We had the monsters and the dog today (school is off for 2 days).

I had been warned that PD was still having trouble with an infection in his paws. However, just on the 50 yard walk to the playing field it was obvious that he was having real problems ...... limping really badly. It eased off when he started sniffing about on the grass, but every time he stepped onto the hard surface of the path the limp was back.
So it was no real walk for him!
Instead I just took him round the perimeter of the field.
I saw that there seemed to be a decent crop of brambles and filed that away for an activity with the monsters.

Half way round the field I saw that some 'person' had removed 3 tyres that are used fr training by the football club and deposited them in the trees.
returned them to the field. But I am not sure if just two works better as a photograph.
Further on I found the blip shot sprayed on the grass -- obviously a description of the writer.

After lunch I took the mosters out berry picking while PD limped along behind. When we stopped he just sat down and didn't even sniff about.

The kids thought it quite and adventure when on two occations I let rip rip at two groups of ar**holes (one of whom were picking up stones and throwing them at the street lights and onto the football pitches and the others who were dragging out a set of training goals and trying to wreck them) and then headed after them when they tried giving lip before running off. Big brave boys!

As well as the brambles I colleted a load of sloes which I will chuck into some gin and leave for a few months.
