Traditional Plum Tart
Today is the day that many Swiss people eat a traditional plum tart!
It's because of : The Federal Day of Thanksgiving, Repentance and Prayer
which is always celebrated on the third Sunday in September. It's called the Jeûne Fédéral.
Today is a public holiday in the canton of Vaud where I live.
My tart is still hot from the oven and the lighting is not so good to take photos indoors now. I serve it with sour cream and it's DELICIOUS!!
See the different stages of making of the tart in extras!
