Diary of an Edinburgher

Truffle

Truffle and her mum, Sophie, visited us this afternoon. We've often met up on the hill or round the block, and the dogs got always seemed to want to play. And they did!

Truffle is a sweet little schnauzer, half Archie's size, and she's so fast. They ran and ran around the garden until big lumbering Archie gave up. He tried his head bunting trick, but she was having none of it. They were moving so fast, I just didn't get a decent action shot, it was only when they stopped that I got a usable shot at all.

While JR took Archie to the Links later, I had a flurry of activity and cut the grass, then cleared the front shed to make room for the chairs from the back shed - don't think we'll be using the recliners any more this year, but I could be wrong...

I've ordered the winter's wood and coal, so I needed the room in the back shed. All done.

And I popped a couple of items on Gumtree, which I've been meaning to do for ages.

I've had an email informing me that a much anticipated item is arriving this evening. Archie will not like it. But Janet has used it with great success with Bailey. Look out Arch! Your hysterical barking at the postman... and visitors... and people passing the gate... has to stop.
