The Essex Girls football league started today so we're back to spending every Sunday driving around Essex, standing in the sun/wind/rain/fog so these girls can kick a football around! A great win for us today and my little girl scored the goals. She came into an established 7 a-side-team and had to prove to them that she was a team player and can fit it. The bonus for her was she's already played in the U12s league last year and knows the offside rule, which this team doesn't know so well yet. She proved her worth today and the manager and coach were very pleased with her. She's spent so many weeks being nervous and today she scored and finally relaxed.
