Piano Rosso
This has to be one of the more idiosyncratic hotels I've stayed in - wonderful, with a view to the old town of Montelupo, with great food, local wines and plenty of power points- but unusual in that the floors are colour coded with a vengeance.
The hotel is only a single storey at road level, but pours downhill in a series of steps. I have a balcony either the view, but on the other side of a door thick and heavy enough for a nuclear bunker, is this corridor. The red corridor.
Piano Rosso.
