Tomatoes and basil

Picked some tomatoes and basil to slow roast with garlic.  I squeezed some out of their skins to use as a base for zucchini and peppers, then pureed the rest for tomato sauce.The house was filled with the delicious aroma.  There are still some tomatoes ripening, so enough to eat fresh and more to roast.  
It's raining!  It's so good to get rain and more on the way tomorrow.  The weather was perfect for the fall fair yesterday, not overcast as forecast, but not great for people who planned to go to it today.
