A day then of mud, mud, and more mud together with some straw for good measure to clog up the wheels on the winch. Brute force followed by some sensible thinking eventually remedied the situation.

Three out of five pilots away though leaving just the two of us as the cunimb hit. Not far but away, although PL had an enjoyable flight over some distance surfing the suck zone before landing for tea and biscuits.

On the plus side, plenty of fresh air and exercise!
