Battle of Britain Service

I was lucky enough, in my capacity as Station Commander's Husband, to attend the Battle of Britain Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving today in Lincoln Cathedral. Very proud of my wife being asked to lay a wreath to The Few. Even more proud that our little boy could watch as well from the VIP seating. He doesn't understand it all now but will in time. He did sit beautifully for most of the service - chocolate covered raisins kept him quite for the rest of the time! Neither the thunderstorm outside nor the cold inside dampened anyone's spirits.
