Au Revoir

Bittersweet evening, with a lovely meal and post-meal drink with Gillian and Jason, but the reason we were out was because in 13 days they're moving to Marseille. Still, that's not somewhere we've visited yet in France, so there's a good excuse there now....

Earlier in the day there was a good foraging wander. Our usual brambles spot was ridiculously cleared, the bramble plants being completely destroyed - presumably for logging reasons. But our secondary spot bore (literal) fruit; and the first spot gave us a stack of Hedgehog mushrooms for tomorrow night. We can pretty much add those to ceps now as fungi we're certain of edibility.
