Fische Markte day

Got up early-ish today to visit the Hamburg Fische Markt.
Walked from the Reeperbahn station to the Markt through streets edged with the previous nights debris, graffiti and groups of lurking youth.
The market was in full flow when we reached it just after 8 o'clock, full of tourists and market sellers banter. For some reason I expected a Hamburg Billingsgate but it was still worth going.
We then returned to the Reeperbahn for a mid morning meal at our favourite "Turkish", then back to the port where we took a passenger ferry down stream / estuary to Finkenwerder Insel.
A quick coffee, ice cream and photos then back on the ferry to return to the main passenger port.
Got caught in a wonderful thunderstorm with hail and lightning whilst on the ferry in the middle of the Elbe. Proud to say we were the only ones who stayed out on the top deck during the experience. Wet through but returned "home" happy from a good day out.

Used up three films on my Mamiya 645 today, already unimpressed with the results and they haven't even been developed yet!
