Morning snooze

This morning I went to a yearly fair that my mother and I used to visit together. It was quite enjoyable before but it has steadily become less interesting each year as the stalls that we enjoyed the most disappeared one after the other and now there are barely any of them left. The fair actually filled several halls in the earlier years but has now been reduced to just one large and one smaller hall. I definitely would not go anymore if I had to pay for my entrance because it would be a huge waste of money but thankfully my public transport pass allowed me to get in for free.

Today's entry is a Woodpigeon having a snooze in a tree on the other side of the road from where I was waiting for the bus to go to the fair.
