Fresh as a ....

.... newly opened crocus.  Much more interesting than daisies!

A mostly sunny Sunday.  Picked Ben up from Cromer mid morning, he and Jamie chilled for mist of the day but were persuaded with little difficulty to bake a chocolate cake to share when his Mum and brothers came round to pick him up.  I did a bit in the garden later on, clearing some of the brambles and other rampageous growth at the far end of our plot.  The aim is to remove all the comfy places that slugs and snails thrive in anywhere near the bulb frames.


Crocus pulchellus, first flower opened early this morning.
