Is it winter yet?

Today Ann had planned a day of domesticated chores. We're moving back up to Edinburgh for the winter in about 10 days time so we Ann had a lot of cleaning/sorting out jobs to do. She said, 'Molly, I might as well pack away all my summer clothes because I don't think Mr Sunshine is going to be putting in an appearance in the next week or so. Also I think I will bring my fabulous hanging egg chair in for the winter because if we are going to rent out our house to holiday makers we do not want big fat people sitting on it and breaking it.'

Sooooo Ann spent about an hour packing away all her summer clothes (and I just lay on the landing watching her) and then do you know what happened?........................ She went outside and her hanging egg chair was hanging in the most glorious sunshine. Haven't a clue what the temperature was but it was hot, hot, hot!

…...............So instead of packing away her hanging egg chair, she plonked the cushions on it and sat on it for about four hours. Obviously I had to lie outside too because I am a very loyal little collie dog.

And then because it was sooooooo hot I got to go swimming this afternoon. Yay!

…....................And when we got back at about 5pm-ish Ann had a glass of wine while swinging about in her hanging egg chair. But now it's gone really cold!
